In Tango Time! eleven tanguitos(little tangos) and three milongas* have been collected together. They were written for cellists who have already mastered the first four positions, have been playing the instrument for several years and are able to perform the tango with verve and inspriation.

The world-famous tango is originally from Argentina: it is a dance that seduces you and penetrates to the depth of your soul. Its sensuality provides endless playing enjoyment - either as a soloist or with the accompaniment on the CD.

*milonga : an improvised form of quiet,rural music which developed into a dance at the end of the 19th century. This dance combined with the elements of the habanera and Spanish tango create the true Argentinian tango.
