Frits Damrow was a trumpet teacher at the Conservatory of Maastricht and the Conservatory of Hilversum. For the last few years, he has been working as a trumpet teacher at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where he instructs trumpet players from various countries. He is regularly invited to give master classes or workshops abroad. He has taught in Germany,Austria,Italy, the United States, and Japan. He is also active as a soloist and can be heard on various CDs.
