The 25 pieces in Beatmuller have been composed by Fons van Gorp as an alternative or "homage" to the popular romantic studies Opus 100 by good old Friedrich Burgmuller. They are written in twentieth century idioms: rock, swing, latin and funky styles are all there, but romance is also present. All the pieces in Beatmuller are meant to be played solo, but the enclosed CD is a perfect tool to help develop the right "drive" and "beat"
